Have you heard about the Law of Attraction, commonly known as 'LOA'? It basically works on the premise of 'like attracts like' and what we think about we can bring about. For example, if you are negative about everything, your relationship, job and car, you will find only more negative things happen to you. Alternatively, if you keep a positive outlook and practise gratefulness for the things in your life, the Universe will give you more of the same!
LOA is the art of manifesting your dreams by asking the Universe for what you want and then using visualisation techniques and believing you already have it while working towards it. One way of utilising this force from the Universe is to write a manifestation cheque (such as the one pictured below).
It's very easy to do, and you can reap great rewards. All you need to do is:

2. Fill in the payment details (your name and the amount you wish to receive) in your country’s currency.
3. Place your cheque in a place where you will see it often (such as on a vision board, car dashboard or fridge door).

LOA and the use of manifestation has become increasingly popular over the last century and is now increasingly being used around the world. Even Hollywood stars have got in on the act.
Did you know that famous actor Jim Carrey wrote himself a manifestation cheque when he was a struggling, fledgling comedian and had to rely on his father to drive him to and from his gigs? Carrey's career was bombing, his family was struggling to support him (having previously been forced to live out of a van when his father lost his job), and he began doubting that he was on the right path. It was then that Jim learned about the Law of Attraction and decided to try it for himself. He wrote himself a check for 10 million dollars for 'acting services rendered' and dated it ten years into the future. Jim then put the cheque safely in his wallet and carried it with him wherever he went.
By the time the date on the cheque came around, Jim got his lucky break. He was cast in the film 'Dumb and Dumber' and his 'real' pay cheque was for...ten million dollars! Carrey famously told the story of his famous check on Oprah Winfrey's talk show (another Hollywood star who used LOA to get her big break). Jim explained that the manifestation cheque he'd written years before stayed in his wallet while he went on to make millions more staring in one hit movie after another. When his father passed away, Jim placed the now almost deteriorated manifestation cheque into his father's coffin, where it remains buried to this day
Carrey said of his LOA experience:
