Numerology and Unlocking the Secrets to your DOB

Numerology, is an ancient belief in the occult significance of numbers.

For thousands of years, it has been believed that there is a mystical relationship to certain events and numbers and people have used the technique as a divinatory tool. Even the great Pythagoras (right), wrote about the subject and produced the forerunner of what we know as numerology today.

Using this technique, you can discover your own personal ‘Life Path Number’. This can help you learn more about yourself, your talents and abilities and how you can be successful in life.

Life path numbers range from 1-9 with two special ‘Master’ numbers, 11 and 22 (more about those special numbers later).

To find out your own number is a very simple process, all you need is the date of your birth and to do some simple calculations. Follow the simple steps below to work out YOUR own life path number:

1. Firstly, take the day of the month that you were born and write it down. If it happens to be a double-digit number, add the two numbers together to make a single digit.

For example, if you were born on the 31st of the month: 31 = 3+1 = 4

2. Secondly, take the month that you were born and write it down. If it happens to be a double-digit number, add the two numbers together to make a single digit.

For example, if you were born in December: 12 = 1+2 = 3

3. Thirdly, take the year that you were born and add the four numbers together until you get a single digit.

For example, if you were born in 1979: 1979 = 1+9+7+9 = 26 then add those two numbers until you get a single digit = 2 + 6 = 8

4. Now you should have three single digit numbers written down, your day, month and year numbers. Now take those three numbers* and add them together until you get a single number to get your final number.

For example, 4+3+8 = 15 then 15 = 1+5=6 which would make 6 your final number.

*However, if you get either 11 or 22, do not add these together - 11 and 22 are unique numbers called Master Numbers and show that you can have achievement or success at a high level (but could also cause pressure in your life).
